In applications where the use of a ferrous target is preferable, Phoenix America Inc. can also provide an array of ferrous targets.

Although sensing ferrous objects typically takes smaller working airgaps than interfacing with a Phoenix America Inc. magnetic target wheel, some applications might find convenience in having a target which is ferrous but non-magnetic. In very rugged environments the sturdiness of a steel or cast target wheel might offer some value.
